I am a hobby artist playing with mud in my basement art studio, in western North Carolina. My "clay-time" is wedged in between a handful of random day-jobs and remote gigs that help keep the kiln elements on. 

I discovered a love for clay-cracked skin and heavy metal slurries during the Covid-19 pandemic, when my local community college offered free tuition and I enrolled in a few ceramics classes. My very first mushroom lamp was actually an assignment for school to build something - anything - out of rolled slab. The idea just kind of slipped into place and I've been working on perfecting my craft ever since.

When I'm not molding lamps or dabbling in other creative outlets, I enjoy eating, making granola, hanging with my cat, and doing yoga.
